Shark Tank India is a reality show where ambitious entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas in front of well-known investors. The Shark Tank India Judges are also known as ‘Sharks’. Moreover, the Shark tank India Judges make investments if they find the business idea innovative and scalable in the long run. The judges also ensure that they have the expertise and resources to help the startups grow. Aman Gupta

Aman Gupta is the co-founder and CMO (chief marketing officer) of boAt Lifestyle. A company that sells fashionable consumer electronics like headphones, earphones, chargers, speakers, etc., of high quality and at affordable prices. In addition, he is also the chairman of the D2C segment of IAMAI (Internet and Mobile Association of India).

Earlier, he was the director of the sales department of HARMAN International. He handled various activities like in-charge of opening JBL flagship or franchisee outlets, entry strategy development, etc. Further, he looked after business development, strategic partnerships with global and national brands, retail pricing, new product introduction, etc.

Additionally, he was the senior management consultant in KPMG where he looked after growth strategies, business modelling, M&As, media and entertainment segment including digitals and e-commerce.  Also, he was the CEO and co-founder of Advanced Telemedia Pvt Ltd and Assistant Manager in Citi.

He completed his 12th from Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram. He completed his B. Com Hons from Delhi University. Moreover, he is a qualified Chartered Accountant from ICAI. Further, he also completed his MBA in general management from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management and MBA in finance and strategy from Indian School of Business.

Peyush Bansal

Peyush Bansal is the co-founder and chief executive and people officer of Lenskart, an eyewear retail chain in India. Moreover, he is also the co-founder of Nesco Brands which is a D2C eyewear brand. He is the co-founder of OJOS, India’s first eyewear subscription service where one can pick 21 trendy styles every month. Additionally, he is the co-founder of Lenskart Vision, a fund to invest in entrepreneurs who are trying to disrupt the eyewear segment and Omni-retail channels using technology and innovations.

Peyush Bansal is also the co-founder of various other startups. He is the co-founder of John Jacobs and Aqualens. John Jacobs is a startup that provides premium eyeglasses, spectacles, and sunglasses globally of high quality at economical rates. Aqualens offers stylish and comfortable eye lenses to customers globally.

Apart from the eyewear segment, he was an investor in Collaborator, where he collaborated with entrepreneurs to build some exciting companies like Dailyobjects, Turms, Alpha, etc. Also, he is the founder and promoter of SearchMyCampus.com, a company that helps college students to find jobs, housing, coaching, etc. Lastly, he was the program manager at Microsoft.

Peyush Bansal completed a bachelor’s in Engineering Honors, Electrical- IT, Control and Automation from McGill University. Additionally, he pursued MPEFB in management from IIM, Bangalore.

Namita Thapar

Namita Thapar is the ED of Emcure Pharmaceuticals. She is zealous about young entrepreneurship and strives to improve women’s health. She also leads Incredible Ventures Ltd, a company that helps young entrepreneurs to solve societal problems. Before joining Emcure as CFO, she worked at Guidant Corporation for six years in the USA.

She has completed her graduation from Pune. Moreover, she completed an MBA from Fuqua School of Business, North Carolina. Additionally, she is a certified CA from ICAI.

Namita Thapar’s net worth is around 600 crores. Lastly, she invested ₹6.38 crores in 22 startups aired on Shark Tank India.

Ashneer Grover

Ashneer Grover is the erstwhile founder and MD of BharatPe. Moreover, he was also the head of PC Jewelers where he was responsible for digital strategies and transformation. He also looked after diversification and e-commerce activities. Additionally, he was the CFO at Grofers (Blinkit). He helped the company to raise funds from Sequoia, Tiger, etc. Further, he worked at American Express as the Director of Corporate Development. Moreover, he was also the VP of Kotak Mahindra Bank. He used to handle activities like M&A, PE, IPO, and restructuring.

Talking about educational qualifications, Ashneer Grover completed BTech in civil engineering from IIT Delhi. Further, he pursued MBA from IIM Ahmedabad. He was also selected as an exchange student for Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon, in France.

Anupam Mittal

Anupam Mittal is the founder and chief executive officer of People Group. People Group has founded companies like Shaadi.com, Mauj Mobile, Makaan.com, and People Pictures. He was a product manager in Micro Strategy, Washington D.C. Moreover, he completed business studies at Boston College.

The net worth of Anupam Mittal is approximately US$ 25 million. Lastly, he invested ₹5.33 crores in 24 startups aired on Shark Tank India.

 

Vineeta Singh

Vineeta Singh is the CEO of Sugar Cosmetics, a beauty products brand. Moreover, she is also the co-founder of FAB BAG, a beauty products subscription company. She was the director of two startups- Quetzal Verify Pvt Ltd and Quetzal Online Pvt Ltd. Quetzal Verify Pvt Ltd was a company that helped HR managers in the recruitment, training, and development, etc. of employees. And Quetzal Online Pvt Ltd helped CFA aspirants to prepare online. Additionally, she did summer internships in two companies- Deutsche Bank (associate level), New York and London and ITC Limited (trainee). She mainly looked after strategic equity transactions, emerging markets structuring, and quality improvement.

Vineeta Singh completed her college at Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram. Moreover, she completed B. Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT Madras. Further, she also did MBA from IIMA Ahmedabad. She turned down a job offer with one crore annual salary to start her business. She is an athlete and also participated in various college activities and societies.

Ghazal Alagh is the chief innovation officer and co-founder of MamaEarth, a personal care beauty brand. She is an artist and has exhibited globally. She was also a corporate trainer in NIIT Limited where she trained managers from the IT sector. Moreover, she was the founder of Dietexpert, a startup that customized diet plans for its customers.

Ghazal Alagh pursued BCA from Panjab University. Additionally, she completed an intensive course in modern arts, applied arts, and design from the School of Visual Arts. Moreover, she completed her art studies from the New York Academy of Art.
